For sale: an exceptional, scene-rich and multicolored French gobelin dating from around 1850, originally from noble ownership. The textile impresses with its rich depiction featuring numerous floral elements as well as a finely worked decorative border.

The craftsmanship is remarkably detailed and demonstrates high artisanal quality. The gobelin was kept for over 50 years in the household of a French countess, which further underscores its provenance.

The condition is very good and appropriate for its age, with beautiful color preservation.
