An older marine generator was taken from a classic sailing yacht due to a circumnavigation of the world, the generator was removed and replaced by a new one.
According to the previous owner of the sailing ship, it should still have been running.
The engine is turning, I would be happy to send you a video of the engine. Generator just needs to be revised or overhauled.
