A classic: Jeep Cherokee 4.0 Limited High Output in great condition

Rare opportunity for lovers of a true classic: I'm selling my Spanish-registered, very well maintained, unmodified and accident-free Jeep Cherokee 4.0 Limited with documented 124,500 kilometers (Carfax available on request). The forefather of the SUV is located in Mallorca and during its 33-year life it has never even seen road salt - accordingly the Jeep is practically rust-free in the critical areas (photos of the underbody, doors, etc. available on request). In Germany this condition is practically impossible to find, or only after restoration. The paint is also in good shape, no rust or the famous "patina". The Jeep is stored in a garage and is the perfect basis to still own a perfect classic in another 20 years - completely without a backlog of repairs.

The 4-liter engine runs flawlessly, the transmission shifts butter-smooth. A real couch, indeed... The Jeep has a perfectly functioning ABS and (important!!) the successor system to the notorious and failure-prone Bendix system of the immediately preceding model years.

The condition of the interior is also very good for the age of the Jeep. No cracks in the leather, no brittle or faded plastic. The headliner was reupholstered this year, as the old liner (as with all vehicles of these years) slowly detached.

The Cherokee can be inspected at any time near Manacor and test-driven (only) with serious interest. Price negotiations take place exclusively on site and only within a very limited scope. Please no inquiries about final prices, pain thresholds, etc. I've already had my pains from selling ;-)

Temperature sensor replaced
Headliner reupholstered
Steering column switch replaced
Stabilizer links renewed
Steering damper renewed
ABS sensors replaced
Ignition wires and distributor replaced
Spark plugs replaced
Brake fluid changed

The car is 33 years old, that doesn't pass completely without traces and a few small things are still to be fixed (if one wants): On the driver's side there are three small dents (fingertip-sized). Not even visible in the photos, but present. There is slight abrasion on the plastic fender flares. The air conditioning is currently not operational; there is a problem with the compressor (Rockauto USA deliverable for EUR 500,-- with heat exchanger). The fuel gauge does not work correctly; after resistance measurement the fuel sender is defective. I simply drive by the trip meter and refuel after 300 kilometers. That's it.

My plan was to fix the remaining small items and finally apply cavity sealing. That would give the car "eternal life." Cherokees in this condition are practically hard to find and the prices for the few well-preserved vehicles are developing above average.

Why am I selling it? I'm a Defender kid and there's already a new project waiting in the garage. I'm simply running out of space and my wife says, "That's enough already..." So the decision has probably been made.
